Call for Entries: Journey for Justin | Benefit Art Auction

Call for Submission: *deadline December 3rd 2010

Dear Artists,
In efforts to raise money to cover the critical medical expenses of our friend Justin Yuen, we are putting together an art auction. We are now collecting artwork for Journey for Justin’s art auction and you are welcome to submit. All 2-D and 3-D fine art will be accepted for review. You may submit up to three works to be juried.

If you are interested, send an email to submissions@journeyforjustin.com with up to three images of each submitted artwork attached in the following format along with the following details -

Image Format:

Submit Jpegs (.jpg) sized up to fit within a 700 x 700 pixel dimension saved at 300dpi. Title each image with your name and then a sequential alpha-numeric append (for multiple pieces and views: 1a-c, 2a-c, 3a-c).

- For each submitted artwork -
1. Title of work
2. Medium
3. Dimensions
4. Brief description
4. Starting bid price

Sales:

Checks in full for sold work will be made directly to the artist. We are suggesting (though not requiring) that a 70% donation of the price of sold works be gifted by the artist to Journey for Justin.

Deadlines:

The deadline for work submission is December 3rd, 2010. Selected artists will be informed of accepted artwork by December 5th, 2010. All artwork must be delivered to NYC for the show by December 15th, 2010.

Delivery:

Both in-person and mailed deliveries of work are allowed. Artists will be notified of the exact artwork delivery location/address in New York City upon selection. If mailing in artwork, appropriate return packaging and postage must be included. Journey for Justin is not responsible for return packaging or postage or liable for any delivery damage to work. All artwork not sold, will be returned to artist
